Kilmainham Arts Festival

Weekend of August 25th & 26th 2012

The festival, now in its third year, once again promises to be a fun and interesting combination of attractions.  Activities take place both indoors and outdoors in the Kilmainham area and include venues such as IMMA, the Hilton Kilmainham and the Patriots Inn.  With an eclectic array of workshops, activities and performances for all the family, you’re sure to find something to enjoy.
A long list of nationally and internationally renowned performers will be making their way to Kilmainham and the best thing about it is – the majority of the events are free!

There are lots of things planned, see here for the calendar http://festival.kilmainhamartsclub.com/events/calendar.php#

"Someone who'll watch over me" by Frank McGuinness is the story of three very different men kidnapped and forced to live together in a tiny cell in Lebanon, 1986.
It's a powerful play based on true events, it will make you laugh and cry as the men try to combat isolation and boredom with the only tools they have, their imaginations.
